Fly Neighbourly - Key Requirements

• NO simultaneous runway operations are permitted under any circumstances.
• Rolling calls mandatory all runways.
• Aircraft take-offs to begin no later than the threshold of the runway to enable maximum height gain after take-off.  Intersection take-offs not permitted.
• Displaced threshold on 06 and 29.  In order to maximise height over built up areas on approach, do not land before the marked threshold.
• Right hand Circuits are required when operation on Runway 29.
• No take-offs or landing before sunrise and after sunset.
• Avoid built up and noise sensitive areas.
• Use active  runways for take-off and landing.  Runway 11 is the preferred runway, conditions permitting. IMPORTANT: Refer procedures for changing the active runway.
• Low level circuit operations to be limited and intentions broadcast clearly on CTAF to avoid conflict.
• Straight-in approaches not permitted.

• Helicopter operators - private and commercial - are expected to adhere to:
• • Comply with noise abatement procedures included in ERSA and CAC Ops Manual
  • Plan all flights to minimise flight below 1,500ft
  • Avoid low level manoeuvres while over populated areas
  • Oval circuits at 500ft to be within airport boundary
  • Self-regulate to ensure no itinerant helicopter training between 7pm and 7am
